Holiday Inn Express & Suites Puyallup Announces New Chief Engineer

Chris Agliam has accepted a promotion into his new role as Chief Engineer at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Puyallup!

Chris has been with Hollander Hospitality for 7 years, holding the positions of Maintenance Technician I & II, as well as Maintenance Supervisor at our Crowne Plaza in SeaTac. In his new role as Chief Engineer at Holiday Inn Express, Chris is looking forward to gaining more experience and taking on new challenges!

When asked why Chris was chosen for this promotion his manager, Jason Jesus, said that "He is honest, hardworking, ensures that the task assigned is completed in a timely manner, pays close attention to details, and works well with a diverse culture." Jason went on to say that Chris has proven himself as a leader, stepping in for the Chief Engineer at our Crowne Plaza in SeaTac when they were assisting with renovations at other Hollander properties. "He has held down the fort to ensure the smooth operation of the engineering department". Jason says that our goal is to always hire and retain the best individuals in the hospitality industry, and Chris is definitely one of the best!

Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, as well as working on cars. Attending car and motorcycle shows and races are some of his favorite pastimes. Chris is also a local competitive shooting instructor and Range Master!
