Courtyard by Marriott Tacoma Downtown Welcomes New Sales Manager

Joy Tevis has accepted the position of Sales Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Tacoma Downtown.

Joy started her career over a decade ago as a Sales Assistant, and instantly knew that the hospitality industry was where she was meant to be. Over the years, she has worked numerous Sales jobs in the Tacoma, Washington area. Most recently, Joy held the position of Membership & Group Sales Coordinator at Northwest Trek Wildlife Park.

In her new role as Sales Manager, Joy in looking forward to learning everything about the Courtyard hotel, as well as new systems and department functions. She is excited to be a part of an energetic and supportive team, and motivated to not only utilize her current connections, but also to meet and make new ones!

When asked what drew her to Hollander Hospitality, Joy said, "The people. To work for an organization where the team members have longevity and passion for their work weighed heavily in my decision to work here. Everyone I know who has worked for Hollander is satisfied and happy."

An interesting fact about Joy - she has summited three major peaks in the Cascade Mountain range; Mt. Rainier (Tahoma), Mt. Adams, and Mt. St. Helens!
