Hollander Hospitality Announces Jason Jesus as General Manager of Fairfield by Marriott Tacoma Puyallup
Puyallup, WA - April 28, 2025 - Hollander Hospitality is thrilled celebrate the promotion of Jason J. Jesus to General Manager of the Fairfield Inn by Marriott Tacoma Puyallup. Jason, who has been serving as General Manager at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Puyallup, brings with him a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted passion for hospitality that has defined his remarkable career.
Jason's journey in the hospitality industry is nothing short of inspiring. What began as a dream of becoming a Travel Manager in the airline industry evolved into a fulfilling career in Hospitality Management. Starting at the Front Desk at Aston Inn on the Bay in Guam, Jason swiftly climbed the ranks to become Housekeeping Manager, setting the stage for his future accomplishments.
Jason’s career highlights include his tenure at Hilton Guam Resort & Spa, where he progressed from Management Trainee to Assistant Executive Housekeeper and experienced his first international cross-training at Hilton Cairns in Australia. In 2006, Jason embraced a major life transition, moving from Guam to Washington State to join La Quinta Inn & Suites Tacoma as Housekeeping Manager. Shortly after, he joined Larkspur Hospitality, advancing from Housekeeping Manager to Regional Housekeeping Manager, overseeing 11 properties across three states, before being promoted to Operations Manager at the Renton location.
One of Jason's most significant milestones was opening his first hotel, the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Puyallup—marking the beginning of his connection with Hollander Hospitality. From there, he led housekeeping operations at Hampton Inn & Suites – Four Points and returned to Hollander Hospitality to contribute at both the Best Western Premier Puyallup and the Crowne Plaza Seattle Airport. Seeking new challenges, Jason joined the Dusit Thani Guam Resort, gaining invaluable experience in luxury hospitality. In 2017, he returned to Washington State and Hollander Hospitality as Housekeeping Manager at the Crowne Plaza Seattle Airport. His dedication and leadership fueled his progression through the ranks, culminating his latest achievement: becoming General Manager of the Fairfield by Marriott Puyallup—the first hotel he played a role in opening.
Jason’s top achievements include his extensive expertise in housekeeping operations, his ability to inspire teams across properties, and his commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences. His vision for leadership is grounded in empathy, efficiency, and fostering growth for both staff and guests.
