Courtyard by Marriott Tacoma Downtown Announces New Housekeeping Manager

Cassandra Cantrell has been promoted to Housekeeping Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Tacoma Downtown.

Cassandra has been with Hollander Hospitality for nearly 10 years, starting in November of 2012 at the Courtyard by Marriott Tacoma as a Room Attendant. She spent a several years in the role of GCPM, and this last year in that of Housekeeping Supervisor. In her new role as Housekeeping Manager, Cassandra is looking forward to the opportunity to learn and grow, and to hone her leadership skills. "I am very passionate about this hotel" said Cassandra, "and I will continue to build a positive and energetic housekeeping team."

When asked why Cassandra was chosen for this promotion her manager, Haley Hollander, said, "Cassie has been with the company for almost 10 years and has worked her way up through the ranks." Haley went on to say the Cassandra knows the housekeeping department inside and out, and has great attention to detail.

Outside of work, Cassandra finds joy in raising her two daughters, and in expanding her knowledge in various topics via podcasts and audiobooks. She has a love for photography, as well as gardening, but says that her favorite pastime is relaxing with a glass of fizzy kombucha!
