Hollander Hospitality Announces New Multi-Property Sales Coordinator

Helen has accepted a brand-new position within our company, Multi-Property Sales Coordinator, providing above-property sales support for multiple hotels.

Helen began her hospitality career in 2006, at the Princeville Hotel on the island of Kauai as a Catering Sales Coordinator. Shortly after, the hotel closed for a major renovation and she accepted a Catering and Convention Services Manager position at The Westin Portland. After a few years in Portland, Helen was then offered a CCS Manager position at the Sheraton Maui, so she moved back to the Island to join her new team. In 2012 she had an opportunity to work at the Maui Metro Complex as their Group Sales Coordinator (which supported the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa, The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, and The Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas). Helen held this position until March 2020, when she decided to move back to Portland to be closer to family.

In her new role as Multi-Property Sales Coordinator for Hollander Hospitality, Helen is looking forward to the opportunity to start a brand-new journey, connect with people and be part of a team. When asked what brought her to Hollander, she said, "I had been wanting to return to hotel hospitality and after my initial interview, I knew immediately that Hollander would be the perfect fit, personally and professionally."

Outside of work, Helen loves spending time with family. She said that nothing beats gathering the family around for her mom’s cooking or her dad playing music; it’s always happy eating and dancing!
