Crowne Plaza Portland Downtown - Convention Center Announces New Sales & Catering Director

Meliza Arzu has accepted a promotion into a new role as Sales & Catering Director at Crowne Plaza Portland Downtown - Convention Center!

Meliza has been with Hollander Hospitality since April of 2005. In her 17 years with the company she has worked her way up from Guest Service Agent to Guest Service Manager, then Sales Manager, Senior Sales Manager, and most recently National Account & Group Sales Manager. She has shown a true passion and talent for customer service and sales at our Crowne Plaza hotel in downtown Portland. In her new role as Sales & Catering Director, Meliza is looking forward to developing new skills and taking on more responsibilities. She is excited to contribute her knowledge and skills toward building a strong onsite sales team!

When asked why Meliza was chosen for this promotion her manager, Eno Anyang, said "Meliza's dedication to excellence in hospitality, proven through her significant contribution in winning multiple brand awards and consistent achievement of performance goals, has shined through since she began with the company. In each role she has been promoted to, it has been a pleasure to watch her grow and stretch her knowledge base across multiple disciplines. Outside of work, Meliza enjoys traveling to new places, hiking, camping, and exercising! She also loves spending time with family and friends, especially her son; One of Meliza's proudest accomplishments is being a mom and raising one of the best kids in the world.
