Patricia Maciel has accepted a promotion to Human Resources Manager at Crowne Plaza Seattle Airport!

For over 20 years, Patricia has been a champion in Human Resources. She started as an HR Assistant at Sea Mar Community Health Center and continued her career path at the Corporate Office for Azteca Mexican Restaurants as their HR Coordinator. After 8 years with Azteca, she returned to the Healthcare Industry as an HR Advisor and then Coordinator for two large medical centers. For the last three years, Patricia has been invaluable as the HR Assistant for our Crowne Plaza Seattle Airport, offering her expertise and support to leadership and line staff employees alike.

In her new role as Human Resources Manager at the Crowne Plaza Seattle Airport, Patricia is excited to continue to help employees and departments and to ensure that staff has the tools they need to provide the best possible service to guests. Patricia shared that "working in the HR field, I find that you should always remember to listen and be graceful with whatever situation comes up."

Patricia's Manager, Ken Stockdale, said that Patricia is a natural leader, extremely organized and thorough, and personable with all new hires and current employees. With her experience and personal and professional qualities, he is confident that she is the best choice for the role of HR Manager.

When she is not working, Patricia is quite the adventurer! She enjoys camping and traveling around the country, exploring different states. She is also a dedicated grandma, and says that one of the most important things in her life is spending time with her 5 grandkids; one of which is on an elite wrestling team in Colorado! She loves being able to travel and support him at wrestling matches whenever she can.
