Delta Hotels by Marriott Seattle Everett Announces Sales & Catering Director

Please join us in congratulating Melissa Montgomery on her new role as Sales & Catering Director at Delta Hotel by Marriott Seattle Everett!

For more than 20 years, Melissa has had a thriving career in the Hospitality Industry. She started in housekeeping, gradually working her way up to Sales Manager. She has worked at several different properties, including our own Crowne Plaza Seattle Airport. With each new role, Melissa has taken challenges in stride and strived to make a positive impact. She has been named employee of the year by multiple organizations, is one of the top-producing Sales Managers in the county, has run two of her own businesses, and is currently starting her very own non-profit.

In her new role as Sales & Catering Director at our Delta Hotel by Marriott, Melissa is looking forward to bringing the hotel to its full potential. She shared that "it's such a beautiful property with the most amazing staff. I know this hotel will be positioned as #1 in the area very soon"

Delta Hotel's General Manager, Danielle Cavoto, said that Melissa was the ideal candidate for this promotion. "Melissa is highly adaptable in the constantly evolving Sales landscape. She makes genuine connections with her team and hotel clients to customize their experience. Her strength is in relationship building because she establishes trust, credibility and rapport with both clients and team members. She is resilient and maintains a positive attitude even when we experience setbacks and keeps pushing the team forward."

One thing that Melissa is most passionate about outside of work is giving back to her community. She and her husband spend much of their free time volunteering at outreach programs for the homeless and working with people coming out of prison or addiction treatment. They offer a support system and mentorship to help these individuals get back on their feet.
