Crowne Plaza Seattle Airport Announces Assistant General Manager

Please join us in congratulating Jason Schimke on his promotion to Assistant General Manager at Crowne Plaza Seattle Airport!

As someone who has over 27 years of experience working in the Hospitality Industry, Jason has seen it all. The last 6 years of his career have been at our Crowne Plaza Seattle Airport as their Accounting Manager, but prior to that he has a wide range of hotel experience. Jason has worked at multiple hotels in nearly all departments. He has been in supervisory and administrative roles for Front Desk, Accounting, Revenue, HR, Housekeeping, and Operations. He has worked as a Task Force Manager, opening new Hotels for MTM management properties, and was even awarded Manager of the Year in 2008 for Alderbrook Resort.

In his new role as Assistant General Manager at Crowne Plaza Seattle Airport, Jason is looking forward to working with all the departments and helping develop new and exciting guest experiences!

Crowne Plaza's General Manager, Ken Stockdale, said that this promotion was one of the easiest decisions he has had to make. "Jason has a very analytical mind, is calm under pressure, and has extensive hotel experience." Ken went on to say that Jason is great at building interpersonal relationships in the workplace, and just bringing people together in general. He is going to do great things in this role.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys international travel and experiencing the different cultures and customs in the countries that he visits. Family is also highly important to him, so he spends as much time with his wife and kids as he can to create lasting memories together.
