Please join us in welcoming Russell Kool to the Hollander Hospitality team. Russell has accepted the position of Food & Beverage Director at Crowne Plaza Portland Downtown Convention Center!

Prior to joining the Hollander Hospitality family, Russ began his culinary career in Banff, Alberta, where he developed a strong foundation in the hospitality industry. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles within Nike WHQ, Hilton Hotels, and boutique hotels in Arizona, gaining extensive experience across a variety of hospitality settings.

He was drawn to Hollander Hospitality because the company's values align with his own, and because of the opportunities we offer for continued personal and professional growth.

In his new role, Russ is looking forward to making a positive difference and helping elevate the hospitality program at Crowne Plaza Portland.

Outside of work, Russ has a passion for adventure. He has scuba dived the Great Barrier Reef and gone helicopter skiing, experiences that reflect his enthusiasm for exploring new challenges both professionally and personally.
